Each vanne has a removable hanging sleeve on the back.

After they finish the hand-quilting, the artists use a 6” long trapunto needle to insert yarn through the backing of the quilt and draw the yarn through the channels and motifs. The result is sculptural and spectacular!

     Scallop Sham takes a 12" square pillow form.

Straight-edge sham takes 18" pillow form.

After the sham is hand-quilted, the quilters use a tapestry needle to draw additional yarn through the channels and motifs to raise the design to sculptural effect.

This design is less intricately stitched than the sham shown above!  The central design is the same but there is no swag around the periphery.  It is 100% hand-quilted and hand-corded.
